Working through past or current trauma is perhaps one of the single bravest things I have the opportunity to behold as a therapist! The fact that you are even reading this page tells me you are braver than most.
Trauma therapy is not for the faint of heart. Whether it’s post-traumatic stress, early childhood trauma, sexual abuse, medical trauma, physical abuse, natural disasters, or bullying, unpacking and working through your trauma will involve courage, self-care, self-kindness, and grit. It might take awhile, but it will be worth it. I promise.
